Hi - I'm William Nolan, owner of 2nd Generation Plumbing. My mission is to provide expert plumbing services and to educate and solve problems for my clients.
I am an expert problem solver and solutionist within my field. I communicate very well and explain what the problem is and different options to solve the problem. My clients consistently comment on my knowledge, communication skills, and professionalism. I want clients to understand that I am here for them and that they can trust my advice.
I offer multiple options for nearly every problem. From repairing to replacing, getting something old working again, replacing, or upgrading, I go over options as in depth as I can and answer any questions I can. I work to educate you about your home, how things work, and why they are necessary. Because, when you understand what I am doing and why, it removes the unknown and inspires trust.
Communication is key. I always return phone calls or emails in a timely manner, and my ultimate goal for a transaction is for both of us to be happy.

About Me
My father is a master plumber in MA and owned his own company for 30 years. I worked for and learned from him. I am licensed in multiple states, Massachusetts and NC. To be licensed in MA you are required to complete 500 hours of formal plumbing education and work as an apprentice for 5 years under a licensed plumber in all areas of plumbing before you are able to take the MA plumbing test.
I’ve worked as a plumber in NC since 2019. I have more experience and education than most plumbers you will find. I stand by my work, always return calls, and always show up for appointments.
My wife Justina and I moved to NC in 2019 and have since had two daughters, Amelia and Lily. We also have a dog, Brody. I have played ice hockey since age 4 and was captain of my high school hockey team. I enjoy the outdoors (hiking, white water rafting, scuba diving, exploring), traveling (Costa Rica, Belize, Caribbean, Thailand, Maldives) and playing and watching sports.
